Hey gang.
Like the Beatles said, ” Obladi oblada life goes on bra
Lala how the life goes on…” And so things here at Thurmond and Rozell household, continue to move forward, never looking back and never to be the same again. Just the way we like it.
Doing the Radio show…with some help.
As I said in the title, we are finding our rhythm. It is not the same old same old, it is a brand new rhythm that brings with it a whole host of unexpected delights. As I have said before, “Change is the only constant, learn to embrace it or forever be disappointed.”
After the boys arrived, I spoke these words out loud, “What we get isn’t always what we expect…” I kept rolling those words over in my head, trying to get a grasp on what they mean to me. I inverted the sentence to say “What we expect isn’t always what we get…”, I asked myself, “Do we always get what we want?”. Are our lives a product of intentions, expectations, desires, actions or wants? or is it a combination of those and many other factors?
My opinion is that it’s all of the above. If we only “want” something, then we will always “want” it and never actually get it. If we want something, and then intend to have it, and see ourselves with it, actions and events will follow that will allow our vision to manifest. All the while, being grateful for what we have.

The really cool thing is, we do get exactly what we want, just not the way we expect to get it. The trick is knowing what we really desire and, setting the intention for it to happen and then allowing the process to be. The key for me is staying “coherent” while encountering the unexpected. A good friend of mine, Dr. Tony Palermo always says, “The present is ALWAYS perfect, and the physical universe never lies.” Tony is saying that to accept the present moment as perfect, allows us to stay in the moment with “clarity”, or “coherence”. By staying “coherent” in the moment, one is more effective at navigating and maybe even affecting change over time.
Does that make sense? You see I never expected to have twins, and never expected for Nora to have to have a C-section. I did want to have a big family of healthy babies, and I longed for the experience of basking in the glow of newborn babies in the comfort of my community. So much so, that I/we were willing to throw our hat back in the ring, as it were, after losing a Ava, less than 2 short years ago. We ultimately received more than we could have ever expected, and in a way that was unexpected, and sometimes VERY difficult. We wanted and intended to have this experience, remained coherent through the process, made decisions and took actions that were congruent with what the moment called for…and now, well, now the Present is Perfect.

My Dear Jeb … I can honestly say I’ve known you for more than something like 80% of my life and you’ve always been a person with a relaxed strenght. All the wonders of all will continue to flow your direction … but I will always remember you as the quiet guy at Bel Aire with the Goofy T-Shirt! Keep writing, putting more love into the universe … and just be … well … Jeb! Looking forward to getting to NH and meeting the tribe!
