Andrew Anthony and Nicholas Benjamin Thurmond were born yesterday at 12:41 and 12:42 PM. After 12 long hours of hard labor, the decision was made to proceed with a c-section and bring ‘em on home, as it were. Andrew Anthony, named after his Uncle Drew and Grandpa Tony, was 7 lbs. 7 ounces. Nicholas Benjamin, named after his Grandpa Nick and Uncle Benny, was 6 lbs. 6 oz., how’s that for symmetry.

As suspected, they are identical…so far we have managed to remember who is who, on the first try, about 3 times.

Nora is recovering well and continues to amaze and thrill me with her strength and spirit.
